Richard Wiley in Washington is Crowned 'Ultimate Republican Lawyer'
In Washington, there are lawyers, Republicans and Republicans’ lawyers. Richard Wiley, chairman and co-founder of Wiley Rein, is a step above the others, according to the Republican National Lawyers Association.
He’s the “ultimate Republican lawyer,” Michael Thielen, the group’s executive director, said.

Legislation requiring congressional review of any Iran nuclear deal will get the 67 Senate votes needed to overcome a presidential veto, Sen. Bob Corker predicted Friday.
The Tennessee Republican said despite “drama” around the issue in recent weeks, he believes his legislation will be successful.
“I believe ultimately we will have a veto-proof majority to make that happen,” Corker said during a speech at the Republican National Lawyers Association’s 2015 National Policy Conference.
The Foreign Relations Committee is expected to mark up Corker's bill next month, after a deadline for negotiators to reach a framework for a final deal.GOP senator: Obama isn't 'comfortable' being commander in chief
Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) said Friday that President Obama isn't "comfortable" making military decisions. "I think this president has never ever been comfortable being commander in chief. He's just not comfortable," Corker said during the Republican National Lawyers Association’s 2015 National Policy Conference.
"He has decision memo after decision memo after decision memo sitting on his desk, I know they are there ... and he cannot bring himself to do it."
