RNLA Seeking Fall 2015 Law Clerk
 
The Republican National Lawyers Association is looking for a law student or recent law graduate to work part or full-time (up to 40 hours a week) for the fall of 2015.  The law clerk will write blog posts, research legislative issues, and have a chance to meet prominent attorneys at RNLA events.  The position also involves assisting with events, communications, and administrative work.  Applicants should have an interest in election law and judicial nominations.  This position involves telecommuting.  Flexibility and superior writing skills are a must. Meet Our Summer Law Clerk 

 


Samantha Nicholson is from Spartanburg, SC and is a rising 3rd year student at Washington and Lee University School of Law. Samantha graduated from Converse College with a B.A. in Politics and Psychology, magna cum laude. Her senior thesis was on the “The Impact of Race and Implicit Association for Voter Behavior.” At W&L Law, she will serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal on Energy, Climate, and the Environment, the Student Bar Association Vice-President, and is an Executive Board Member of the W&L Chapter of the Federalist Society. Last summer she worked for U.S. Senator Tim Scott on energy and healthcare issues. This summer she is focusing on Election Law with the RNLA, and ultimately, she hopes to pursue policy work on Capitol Hill.
