Rep. John Culberson – Chairman of the House Subcommittee
on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies – emphasized that President
Obama’s Department of Justice must enforce the law in a letter yesterday:
I want to express the Committee’s expectation that the Department of Justice will allocate its resources to the enforcement of existing Federal law.
This concern was in light of discussions regarding the President unilaterally and illegally limiting the Second Amendment. However it is also relevant
in many other matters such as voting and the Department of Justice’s refusal to
clean up voting rolls. Remember that
previously the Obama Department of Justice has
refused to enforce Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act.
Thank you to Congressman Culberson for focusing the Obama
Department of Justice on using its resources to enforce current law.
