Today, Representative Paul Ryan received the necessary votes
to be elected the new Speaker of the House.
In a press release,
the RNLA and its leadership congratulates Representative Ryan for being called
to serve in this new leadership role.
Today the United State House voted
to make Rep. Paul Ryan the new Speaker of the House. Republican National
Lawyers Association (RNLA) Chair Randy Evans who was also counsel to two former
Speakers said: “Having represented two Republican Speakers, I can confidently
say Paul Ryan has the qualifications and background to be a great Speaker and
leader for the Republican Party.”
“Paul Ryan is the right man at the
right time,” said RNLA First Vice President Elliot Berke, who serves as outside
counsel to many House Members including Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
“Speaker Ryan will lead House Republicans with the intelligence and integrity
that have been the hallmarks of his career.”
